This site  The Web

Everyone with a body is Born 2 Move! We move people to all parts of their being, and in all aspects of life, in discovery of what physical “being” truly means!

Born 2 Move combines elements of dance, theatre, historical interpretation, and physical and spiritual practices into holistic pictures that help achieve connections between thoughts and feelings, life and ideas.

In this website you will open the door to several avenues through which these connections can be made: from educational curricula and programs, to personalized fitness, historical re-enactment, and theatrical performance!

Movement Integration into Education

The educational mission of Born To Move Movement Adventures is to provide movement-based instruction and content in a variety of educational settings. These educational movement programs extend learning potential and integrate the arts into general curricula by engaging creativity and kinesthetic intelligence through dance, movement and performance.

Born 2 Move Movement Adventures was started in 2004 by founder and director Marc Kotz, M.F.A. Marc has been a dancer and theatrical performer for most of his life, performing, choreographing, teaching, directing, and collaborating across the United States and abroad. Many of the projects Mr. Kotz has been involved with are either based in “classical” music theatre, world cultures, or historical dramatization. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 1994, has taught university for twelve years, and continues to foster his love of integrating movement and performing arts into educational contexts for students of all ages through Born 2 Move Movement Adventures.
